Celebrating the League’s diamond anniversary.

In 2020, we were asked to create an identity system for the 75th anniversary of the NBA. The challenge was to honor the NBA’s rich history and celebrate its bright future.

The diamond is the emblem of purity and perfection, of invincibility and commitment, of faithfulness and permanence. It symbolizes light and brilliance, unconquerable and highly treasured.

The 75th Pill and Diamond were created to take the place of the regular logoman pill for the entire 2021/2022 season.

The diamond pattern elements were created to support and expand the NBA 75th visual identity throughout the season.
